The Central Queensland Amateur Racing Club invites you to join them for their annual Carnival including a Sports Lunch on Friday 20th April and the main race day Saturday 12th May.

Come along for a fantastic afternoon of racing yarns with our special guest and 42 Group one winning jockey Chris Munce. You will also be in the running to win a trip for 4 to this year’s COX plate whilst raising money for the Cancer Council Queensland. Enjoy live entertainment by Dave Dow and bus transport to The Giddy Goat upon function conclusion. The Sports Lunch is held at Callaghan Park Members area from 12pm. Tickets are $150 per person. Chairman's Luncheon

Saturday 12 May, 2018 at Callaghan Park Member’s Lounge from 12 noon to 2.30pm. Members $130pp, Non-Members $140pp Bookings essential. Please note RJC Members wanting to enter the Member’s Lounge will be required to purchase a Rocky Amateurs membership for $35. This will cover gate entry and members entry for the day. The Rocky Amateurs Cup Race Day is a private function with the Rocky Amateurs Committee hiring the track for the day.

Grandstand Function

Callaghan Park Grandstand Lounge from 12.30pm to 5pm. Enjoy a vibrant afternoon with the best view on the course whilst listening to live entertainment from Dave Dow. Ticket includes gate and grandstand entry, reserved track view table, race books and access to bookmaker and tote facilities plus bus transfer to The Giddy Goat where you will enjoy special food, beverage options and live music from 6pm. Tickets $45pp (tables of 6, 8 or 10 accepted).

TCC Party in the Park

Exclusive access to The Cathedral College Enclosure. Tickets include entry to Callaghan Park and race book, two complimentary beverages, a gourmet Pegunny Pastoral BBQ Luncheon, Exclusive Fashions on the Field (prizes for Best Dressed Female, Best Dressed Male, Best Millinery) and a host of great prizes to be won on the day. A thrilling seven-race program on the Callaghan Park turf track with prize money of $135,000 and trophies on offer to horse owners.

Fashions on the Field

Entry by gold coin donation. Don your best racing attire for your chance to share in fantastic prizes. Categories include Classic 30 and over, Contemporary under 30, Millinery and Gents.
